Video : Hot N Cold by Katy Perry

Here’s a video of Katy Perry’s new single Hot & Cold. Finally, an embedable video is available on YouTube, heh.
The video starts off with Katy Perry getting married at a Church full of people. With a complete Bridal entourage and all. When it was time for the guy to say “I Do”, he couldn’t muster the courage to say it. Katy started singing, the entourage starting bouncing, and the guests started bopping their heads.
The groom-to-be ran out of the Church, Katy started casing him and ensues all the funny shenanigans out in the street. It’s a very funny video. Maybe the guy would say I Do if Katy at least wore a skirt to her own wedding. Not her granny panty trademark bottoms, heh. I loved the dancing sequences and all the reference to 80’s music. A nice homage to Blondie and Madonna.
Oh and yes, that word “bitch” was said at the Church setting. What are we going to do with our dear Katy?

There is no doubt that Hot & Cold is a very catchy song. I don’t think Katy shows much integrity or any real passion beyond collecting a paycheck. The obvious notion is in the novelty of her songs.
