Before the Britney Spears selfish teams of corporation take it down, here’s the video for "If You Seek Amy".

Watching music videos these days is like chasing millions and millions of dollars dream in this economy. The video channels on TV whose main purpose was to play music videos have turned into crappy reality show TV. So we all turn to YouTube or other video places online but of course the management takes it down because they want money out of their products. It’s understandable but geez if we have to work so hard just to watch a damn video of Britney Spears and other artists we might as well not have a life at all.

Having aired out my frustrations, How do you like Britney’s new video? I think it’s ok. Nothing too extravagant yet still fun to watch. I agree with one entertainment reporter who called it, "vintage Britney sound, vintage Britney body, vintage controversial Britney song and video". Yup, I couldn’t agree more. To the people who are trying to play dumb and innocent by asking if Britney is sending a subliminal message through this video, song title, and lyrics, all I could say is, WHERE THE IF YOU SEEK AMY HAVE YOU BEEN?

When Camille Velasco auditioned for American Idol, she sang ‘Ready Or Not’ from Fugees. Here she is doing an acoustic cover in her recent CamilleTV video.

Camille Velasco is really a talented musician. I’m so glad she’s sharing it with her fans through YouTbue videos. I hope she has gotten over her stage fright phase coz that’s pretty much what held her back during her season in American Idol. Let’s hope this acoustic version of her audition song lands her something big as well.

When Country Music Icon Reba McEntyre heard Because of Your by Kelly Clarkson she loved it instantly. Loved it so much she decided to include the song and Kelly on her duets album. To make story short, Kelly and Reba have been singing duets since then. I first heard of the duet on Oprah. Imagine that..LOL. I love the pop version of Because Of You but when I heard the emotional country version I was left with tears. Serious humiliating tears. the heart and soul of the song just went up another notch with Reba’s country infusion into it. For our song of the day, here is an emotional duet from Kelly Clarkson and Reba McEntyre with Because Of You.

Video : Ray Of Light by Madonna

Madonna took a little bit of “mini-hiatus” sometime ago but then she came back and I do believe Ray Of Light is probably one of her best videos (and song) ever. People were drawn to the concept and the music video process jumped into another level of creativity. Plus the song lyrics weren’t too shabby either. It spoke volumes of how society and life in general has become throughout the years. It’s Madonna doing what she does best. So for our “Vintage” Madonna, hope you enjoy “Ray Of Light“.

Cyndi Lauper Performance Videos On Good Morning America

Here’s a video of Cyndi Lauper performing ‘Same ‘Ol Story’, one of her new songs from her new album “Bring Ya To The Brink” on Good Morning America.

I’m sorry to say I missed this first performance. I completely forgot about Cyndi’s appearance on GMA. Thank goodness I was switching channel and I was able to watch her ‘Girls Just Wanna Have Fun’ performance. Watch that video after the fold…

Cyndi Lauper still got it but I have to admit, she was looking all exhausted in the end. I loved the part when she went off the stage to be closer to the fans. Then one guy got closer, and took Cyndi’s picture with his cellphone. Cyndi laughed about it. She was such a good sport about it too. As always, The Girl Just Want Top Have Fun .

Departure By Jesse McCartney | He’s All Grown Up

When I first heard Leavin’ by Jesse McCartney, I was really surprised it was him. The sound is mature, sexy and has a little RnB beat to it. Who knew he was cooking up something sexy aptly called DEPARTURE during his 2 year absence from the Pop scene.

By the way, Jesse McCartney co-wrote Leona Lewis’s hit Bleeding Love. Impressive huh?

DEPARTURE is definitely a departure, no pun intended, from his previous albums. In this one Jesse delves into sex (nothing explicit), lust and of course, love. He’s transitioning into an adulthood so it just makes sense that his new songs reflects that, albeit unexpectedly. His music and lyrics have matured which although unexpected shouldn’t be a surprise since McCartney is growing up and experiencing life. What better way to let his fans and the industry know than in his songs, right? Gone are the days when he was longing for a ‘Beautiful Soul’ or telling someone he’s ‘Right Where He Want Me’. We could say the same thing with his new image as well. Blond hair and bangs are now replaced with a darker, shorter and spiked hair.
