]]> Jessica Simpson is explaining here reasons (to anyone who’d listen) why she ditched Pop Music for Country. According to ex-Mrs. Lachey, she feels right at home with Country Music. With the latter’s genre, she feels she’s is showcasing the talent that God gave her unlike in the Pop World where she didn’t have a chance to stand on her own 2 feet and feel comfortable with what God gave her. That’s good and all, but I don’t think it’s necessary to diss the genre of music that has provided Jessica Simpson her lavish lifestyle through the years. Transition and everything, but let’s not forget the fact that it was Pop Music that got her started and made her famous. Reality show, divorce, movies and clothing line came after/while she was a Pop Star.

But who could blame Jessica? She was competing with Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera during her run as a Pop Star. Now let’s hope Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, Kellie Pickler, etc would welcome her with open arms.
