David Archuleta, along with David Cook were on The View this morning. It was a lovely interview if I say so myself. A person with no malice in his/heart could clearly see that these 2 David’s are genuinely supportive of each other. Elizabeth even asked Jeff, Archie’s father, about all the controversies during the show maligning his name. Jeff summed it up just right. Some people just can’t accept the fact that David A is a good kid. They couldn’t really say anything bad about him so when he fibbed his lines from one of the songs, they went after the next best thing. I loved how David Cook defended Jeff as well. He said David A’s father is nothing but supportive and only cares about his child. It’s just the media trying to put a spin on things just because. Kinda sad but true.

And here’s the American Idol winner, David Cook, singing Time Of My Life. You could tell that David Cook certainly is enjoying this time of his life. Hectic but I’m pretty sure he’s prepared for it.

Here’s one of the few cool commercials they showed during the American Idol finale which David Cook won btw, just in case you’re got stranded somewhere and you haven’t seen the news :). David Cook dancing in his undies ala Tom Cruise in Risky Business for Guitar Hero commercial. I prefer David Cook’s commercial over David Archuleta. Cook had better rock star moves in my opinion. Plus he showed more legs, AND, David Cook sure could dance too.

The last performance American Idol show tonight, David Cook sang his own rendition of Aerosmith’s very popular ballad, “I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing“. It was a little weird at first with the backup violinists in the background AND the house band but David Cook made it work. Like Paula Abdul said, “see you in the finals”. Indeed :).
