The Pussycat Dolls performed the first single, ‘When I Grow Up’, off of their upcoming next album, slated to be out this Summer and loads of you requested the lyrics. So here it is, I also added an audio just in case you missed PCD’s 2008 MTV Movie Awards Live Performance.

The lyrics are quite telling huh? It sure speaks volume on how the Pop Culture is these days. Everybody wants to be famous these days. They stretch out their 15 minutes as far as they could take it. Some people are successful and lucky enough to be on Top 40, or movies or TV shows. It’s all in the game of being famous. Whatever happened to, “When I Grow Up, I want to be a Doctor”? Now it’s When I Grow Up I want to be a Pop Star so I can make money, drive nice cars, date countless time, get on exclusive clubs with my Hollywood underage ID, be on magazines…etc.”
