Here’s a Pop Music Scene link round-up for October 10th to highlight what else is going on in the Pop Culture and other artists news here and everywhere.

Have fun link surfing…

Joe Jonas of the Jonas Brothers broke up with Taylor Swift over the phone. Someone needs to tell Joe that what he did wasn’t a gentleman thing to do. Not only that, it was a very cowardly act. That’s messed up, Joe.

Listen to Hilary Duff “Reach Out” DJ Escape & Dom Capello Edit.

Linkin Park cancels it’s China Tour due to Chester Bennington’s back injury.

The Diddy is pissed off at McCain for calling Obama, “that one”.

Remember the Spice Girls “Spiceworld” bus? It’s apparently up for auction on EBAY.

Teens all over the world are breaking up with each other over the phone or via text message. My kid got a breakup text message. I think the phone call is a lot nicer, so please don’t hold Joe Jonas to some higher standard than the rest of the world. At least — IF THIS IS ALL TRUE — he did it by ‘talking’ to the other person rather than a text.

As far as WHY he would do it (if he did), maybe he realized that she was falling for him more than he was or ready for, and decided it would be the best for both of them. In which case, sooner the better. You can’t blame a guy for that.

Taylor and Joe both seem nice and if it didn’t work out, it didn’t. Doesn’t mean Joe’s a bad guy.

Angela, just because teens all over the world are doing it that doesn’t mean it’s right. Maybe that’s what’s wrong with Teens these days. No one is teaching them ethics, compassion and how NOT to treat people.

I like Jonas Brothers but I’m not going to sit here and justify everything they do. I didn’t call Joe a bad guy, I said what he did was a cowardly act. I call it as I see it.

All these celebrities need to have people they could trust. People who would tell them when they’re doing something wrong.

I really hope no one breaks up with you over the phone someday and justify it by saying “everyone was doing it”. It’s wrong for non-celebs to do it, it’s wrong for celebs to do it.
