One Killed in Miley Cyrus Tour Bus Crash

On Friday, while making it’s way through Virginia, one of Miley Cyrus’ tour buses crashed at an Interstate, killing one person. Miley was not on the bus, which crashed at around 8:15 am.

The accident, became a fatal incident when Bill Douglas, the driver of the bus, died after suffering injuries from the crash. Nine other people riding on the bus have been transported to the local hospital, their condition unclear. According to reports, the road was slick from rain from the night before, and these conditions are likely what resulted in the bus being overturned. 

In a recent statement, Miley said, "We are deeply saddened by the loss of Bill ‘Uncle Bill’ Douglas. Members of our tour are like members of our family. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family in the midst of this tragedy. He will truly be missed."

Miley will continue her Wonder World tour in North Carolina tomorrow and will continue on the tour until December, to promote her mini album, The Time Of Our Lives.
