My Only Wish This Year by Britney Spears

"My Only Wish This Year" is Britney Spear’s contribution to the Platinum Christmas album that was released back in year 2000. One artists on the album were Christina Aguilera, Dido, BSB, N’Sync, Toni Braxton, TLC and a lot more. Shamelessly, Britney’s version of "My Only Wish This Year" is probably my favorite on the album. Her rendition is simple. I love classic Christmas songs done by a choir or an orchestra but it’s also nice to just hear something fun and simple. Granted I’m a quintessential fan of Pop Music I do get tried of bravados from pop stars butchering classic Christmas songs. So to hear Britney’s touch on this playful song was a breath of fresh air.
