Miley Cyrus : A Teen Talk Show Host?

There’s a rumor whirling around, apparently from Star magazine, that Tyra Banks met with Miley Cyrus back in May to discuss a possible Teen Talk Show to be hosted by the Teen Pop herself.
Wow, I can’t believe I’m about to say this but, as much as I love Miley Cyrus, I think a talk show would just be too much to an already filled resume AND schedule for the Teen Pop Star. I respect her parents but I hope they say no to this “opportunity”. The girl is going to burn really fast with projects after projects. Let the girl have a break for crying out loud.
Sure Miley has a huge following and could possibly be a good inspiration to some young people. But let’s consider the future here. Too much exposure has always had a negative effect on a young star (Hello Britney). I wish longevity for Miley Cyrus. Not projects on top of more projects right now that once she’s 20 she’s all washed up. Know what I mean? Let her take a breather while she’s enjoying her singing, TV and movie career. *Knock On Wood*.

i dont think Miley should be a teen talk show host. I mean she can help kids her age, but i wouldn’t take advice from a girl that has had four or five picture scandals. If they are going to have a teen talk show, they should have a fresh face come on to the scene. Someone that teens can relate to. I can’t relate to Miley, she’s famous, has A LOT of money, and she has dated famous guys. I don’t know anybody from my school that has any of those things. It’s just an opportunity for Miley to add to her fame. Instead of launching another girls dream to be in the spotlight, like me.

alyssa, it’s a scandal because she’s a celebrity. it’s nothing compare to all the teenagers post in myspace or facebook.
the girls at your school wouldn’t be at your school if they’re famous and rich like Miley. People like Tyra and Disney seem to think she’s an asset or they wouldn’t keep giving her opportunities, left and right.
If you’re serious about your career then I hope you align yourself with the right people. But don’t blame Miley if you can’t do it right away. She works really really hard everyday to get where she is now.

dexie im not blaming Miley at all. Miley is a wonderful singer, actress, and person, but there are other people that have the same qualities that don’t have a chance to live their dream. It’s not fair to us. I am part of an agency, i’ve taken all the acting classes, but i still don’t get chances like this because i don’t have the money. My parents have worked so hard to get me what i have now and i appreciate that. When i do ask them about going to LA to maybe get the chance to be in the spotlight, they same no even though i work hard. All i saying is that producers need to find other talent so they can live their dreams like Miley. Is that wrong to say?

no it’s not wrong to say that. this business is hard so if you’re really serious about it, you really have to align yourself with good people. make sure they won’t take advantage of you. that’s the best advice I could give you.
