Mariah Carey Performing "I’m That Chic" At Fashion Rocks 2008

Here’s Mariah Carey doing a lackluster performance of her song “I’m That Chick” from her “E=MC2” album. I know people are going to say, “well with her tight long bandage dress, Mariah couldn’t move“. Well guess what, she should’ve known that was going to happen when she decided to wear the dress. She looked amazing, I give her that. But was it a “performance” dress? Obviously not. She freaking stood there like a stick. Maybe a few steps here and there but it was awkward to watch.

I was afraid one of her dancers was going to knock her down at one point for being in the way. Move Mariah, geez. As far as I’m concerned, she should’ve been singing, “I’m that stick you like“.

What do I think about the song and her singing? What’s there to say? It was lip synched. Mariah’s team should give CBS’ camera crew some raise though. They did a great job shooting and focusing on her “good side“. If you’re a Mariah Carey fan you know exactly what I’m talking about, heh.
