Mariah Carey Performing At The 2008 Teen Choice Awards

It was really smoky in the beginning but Mariah Carey showed up at one point, LOL. In her skimpy blue top and yellow shorts. With Yellow platform heels that she could not walk in to obviously since someone was always assisting her every time she moved from one spot to another. And then of course the fact that she lip synched the entire “I’ll Be Loving U Long Time” song and had the audacity to pretend she just belted out 3 high notes in the end. C’mon now, we’re not ts-ts-ts-stupid. Pffft
We still love Mariah Carey. I just wish she’d stop trying too damn hard. *sigh*
Umm, that was definitely not lipped! Have you heard the original? There were obvious differences, and the high notes are not part of the song, so those were def live. People think Mariah lips because she sounds so good, but she really is just that good. Why knock a girl because she’s the best?
Jake, it’s called back track, or voice over. You can pretty much add anything in the beginning, middle and end. Notice how the camera faded out throughout the performance AND in the end.
Mariah has been lip syncing ever since this album came out. She was caught big time on Good Morning America.
But that’s ok, we love Mariah, we’re not knocking her. She is good and she used to be able to belt out all of those notes but not recently. Not Live anyway.
I think that all singers at 1 point or another Lipsing but U never know. They do have good and bad days like we do. Besides I bet all those High Notes are getting to her Vocals. Mariah has been around 4 along time give the girl some slack
