Keeps Gettin’ Better by Christina Aguilera
If you tell my friends right now that I’m listening to Christina Aguilera’s new song, Keeps Gettin’ Better, they’ll call you crazy. See, I never liked Christina. I mean she has a great voice and I’m sure she’s a good person. I never really warmed up to her. She seemed a little too full of herself to me. And I couldn’t stand how she wore too much makeup, LOL.
But that was years ago. She’s still wearing too much makeup and can still sing her heart out. So what changed? I can’t really explain it. Maybe now that she’s a Mom that I feel something relatable with her. It was last year that I could honestly say was when the time I started tolerating her songs. I could sit in my chair and let the her music play without feeling irritated and not reaching for the remote to change the channel. As a matter of fact, I call her old songs “vintage Christina” and that’s a compliment, trust me :).
Better late than never, right? Keeps Gettin’ Better is so catchy I can’t get it out of my head. I love the part where she sings :

Keeps Gettin’ Better is one of the 2 new singles off of her Christina Aguilera: Keeps Gettin’ Better - A Decade of Hits album which will exclusively be distributed by Target and Target.com. The greatest hits album won’t be out until November 11th but you can pre-order a copy starting September 30th. Hooray! I might finally own a copy of a Christina Aguilera CD :)
