Just Dance by Lady Gaga ft. Akon & Colby

I really tried not to like Just Dance by Lady Gaga but I should’ve known early on that it’s impossible. I’m a sucker for good dance music. I’m very capable of ignoring Lady Gaga’s similarities to Christina Aguilera. Don’t worry Christina’s fans, I’m not saying Lady Gaga is better than CA, and don’t worry Lady Gaga’s fans ‘coz I’m not saying Lady Gaga is trying to copy Christina. Not at all.

But the similarities are there and saying there isn’t is just pure denial. Anyhooo, the intro to Just Dance is prominent in some of the songs from NKOTB’s The Block. I can’t remember which songs but I think 3 of them. But then of course, Lady Gaga collaborated with NKOTB on the group’s song, “Big Girl Now.”
