David Noriega Covers Rihanna’s ‘Umbrella’
Geez, how many people have covered Rihanna’s ‘Umbrella‘? Mandy Moore did it, unsuccessfully I might add. Marie Digby did as well. It garnered loads of views from YouTube. There are other artists out there who has covered Umbrella. Now it’s American Idol semi-finalist David Noriega. Watch David Noriega singing a cover of Umbrella below.
Hmmm, is that Noriega’s bedroom? It looks very neat. Sorry but that was my impression from the video. Well what can I say about his cover? Enough already. If I was Rihanna I’d put a freaking lock on that song then throw away the key. Or get royalty everytime someone thinks she/he can do it better than Rihanna did. Know what I mean? Having said that, David’s Umbrella version wasn’t bad. I enjoyed his facial expressions and obvious commitment to the song :).
