David Archuleta Signs His 1st Record Deal

David Archuleta just signed the dotted line with 19 Recordings / Jive Records. David A said signing with the record company is a dream come true. He is honored and humbled to be working with them since he’s been watching American Idol from season 1 and has complete admiration for all the previous winners and contestants.

Simon Fuller is confident that David A has a bright future in music ahead of him. His first album is slated to drop at the end of this year.

David A is already making waves in the Billboards Charts. His covers of John Lennon’s ‘Imagine’, ‘Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me’ and ‘In This Moment’ which he performed at the Idol finale are part of Billboard’s Hot 100 Chart.
