25 years after Cyndi Lauper became a phenomenon with a girl power anthem song, ‘Girls Wanna Just Have Fun’, and hits like ‘True Color‘ and ‘Time After Time‘, she’s back (not that she ever left) with new materials all in one album called Bring Ya To The Brink. The always flamboyant pop star ingenue gives us dance club songs that promises to get you off your feet. Bring Ya to The Brink showcases nightclubbing tunes inspired by the UK night life. Having said that, Cyndi Lauper once again gather life experiences translated into her lyrics, in a nifty dance album. Preview the sounds and a track list after the fold… FYI, this album has been dubbed with “EXPLICIT LYRICS” so if you have children in the room I suggest wearing a headphone before you click for more :)

I give it a 3 out 5. High and Mighty is the perfect first track to get you started. Lyfe’s got a sexy and hip hop-ish beat. It’s my favorite from the Aalbum actually. Same Old F@#%$*G Story pretty mcuh speaks for itself, heh. Overall it’s a good dance album if that’s what you’re looking for.

So, judging from the audio previews alone, is Cyndi Lauper going to Bring Ya To The Brink? :) .
