I love Gwen Stefani and I’ve accpeted that she really doesn’t sound that good live, heh. Nevertheless, she rocks. However, ithe performance just felt a little awkward and her hair looked a bit silly like that. I’m an advocate for Women beign Hot Mommas and all that. But there comes a point when a performer should show some maturity. I guess I was asking a more evolved approach form the group now since let’s face it, they’re not in their 20’s anymore.

New Kids On The Block is successful with their reunion because they’ve shown maturity in their looks, performance and their new album. I’m not getting the same feeling with No Doubt. Gwen Stefani looked like she was over compensating and frankly, a bit awkward. Having said all that, I’d still buy their new album because I’m a fan and I would like to find out how this new one is comapred to their old ones.

It’s Alright, It’s Ok by Ashley Tisdale came out a few a week ago or so but I didn’t rush into listening to it or watching the video. I’m not a fan, sorry. She’s a beautiful girl, don’t get me wrong but I already like Miley Cyrus, I don’t think my ears can handle any more nasal way of singing, heh. But I finally listened to Ashley’s single today and well, I wish I stuck to my guns and just didn’t even venture out there. What’s done is done though.

All I can say is that Ashley’s voice sounded too much of a scream or a shriek. I actually prefer Vanessa Hudgen’s sound. She happens to be Ashley’s co-star in the High School Musical phenomenon aka Zac Efron’s girlfriend. In summation, my ears are still ringing from listening to Ashley. No offense hun.

It’s Alright, It’s Ok is off of Ashley Tisdale’s upcoming album Guilty Pleasure that’s due out on June 16th.

I know this is a late review of Lady Gaga’s The Fame album but I say, better late than never. I didn’t even plan on writing one. I never even planned on buying her CD. I was just happy listening to her songs being played at XM satellite radio. But my husband must have been reading my mind yesterday morning because I woke up with the song "Poker Face" in my head. He came home from an errand yesterday and handed me Lady Gaga’s album. How sweet of him, no?

So I popped the CD in and put it on replay pretty much throughout the day. My first impression after the 1 cycle is that the album is Cohesive. How so? It’s definitely a dance album. You will dance from the first track "Just Dance" all the way to the last track "Summerboy". All the songs have a nice beat into it. To be honest, the songs all sound the same which is why I call it cohesive. Having said that, I still like it. There is just something into every song pretty much sounding all the similar yet making me want to shake my hips and throw my hands up in the air through all of them. NICE. I’d probably get in trouble for saying this but while Lady Gaga could pass as Christina Aguilera’s twin, there were some songs on the 14-track album where I thought I was listening to Jennifer Lopez.

There’s a slightly ballad-sound in the song "EH, EH (Nothing Else I can Say)" but overall The Fame is a dance-club album that would appeal to anyone who well, loves to dance. It’s a great work-out CD to listen to that’s for sure.

Here’s the video of Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift performing "Fifteen" at the 2009 Grammy Awards. "Fifteen" was written by Taylor Swift.

The song is very good, the acoustic guitar that Taylor Swift played herself was also good. Miley Cyrus was ok. She sounded like she was yelling. She was also making a lot of strained facial expressions. I like Miley Cyrus but she wasn’t that impressive last night. I wish they did something else.

It was their first time performing at the Grammy’s, that’s all they could think of to do? C’mon now. Miley could’ve done an elaborate set with 2 or 3 of her songs and Taylor could’ve done the same thing with her own 2-3 hits. It could’ve been like a Young Pop Music Star on one stage, and a Young Country Music Star on the other side of the stage. That would’ve been much better in my opinion. This duet that I myself was looking forward to was a letdown considering it was the Grammy’s. You know, where big things should happen.

What do you think? I like it. The beginning is so cute and romantic. Then it becomes irritating, annoying, dysfunctional, yet truthful. It portrays something real in any relationships that I’m sure any of us have experienced in life. It shows what really matters in life. Being a pain in the butt or work things out because in the end, Your Life Would Suck Without Him/Her. Good job Kelly!

I must say that I am very impressed by Katy Perry’s acting ability. She looked really believable as the military girlfriend who is very much in love with her soldier, but is also weak to fight temptations. She sings about being disgusted by her infidelity. She cries about thinking about her Man the whole time. But then of course the soldier died in combat.

I love the period scenes from the video. It totally matched Katy Perry’s beauty and fashion sense.

The new video for Leona Lewis’s new single, "I Will Be" off of her successful debut album, SPIRIT is out. The video features Gossip Girl hottie, Chace Crawford. The video is like a movie. Leona and Chase had some dialogues. With a bag full of cash. Ooh. Leona has been up to something naughty, huh?
