She’s originally from Mississippi and has become a pretty hot on the music scene in New Orleans. Her debut single is called “Driving Me Stupid” and is off of her upcoming debut album, which will be released through Universal Republic Records on November 10th.

It’s really interesting to see how her Southern musical influence, fuses with the pop sound. It’s definitely worth a listen.

Allison was pretty excited about wrapping up the album. She wrote on Twitter, "Wow just finished up ze LAST song for ze album… It is DONE!! Waalaaaaaaa!!!,"

The cover art makes sense for Allison since she seems to love that magenta color. I’m interested to see what the whole album sounds like, but for the mean time you guys can have a listen to her single “Friday I’ll Be Over U” below.

An insider claims, "Lacey went into an LA studio on Oct. 1 and began work on her debut album, which is due in early 2010. She recorded two potential hit singles during her first two days in the studio.

So, what kind of tunes can we expect from the ballroom dancer? According to the source, "Her music is in a dance-and-pop vein, and one of these songs will definitely be released as a single in November. I heard some rough mixes of the first two songs. They’re amazing. They really make you want to get up and dance."

That certainly is interesting. I‘m kind of tired of everyone thinking they can come out with an album lately. I like Lacey as a dancer, but we’ll just have to wait until we hear some tracks and see how it turns out. But for the mean time we’ve got pics of her recording her debut album!

Now, they are preparing to release their debut album Read Between the Lines and seem to continue to get their name out there!

The lead singer, Shelby Cobra really reminds me of Gwen Stefani during her No Doubt days. On this album you really get to see how just how perfect they are as a girl rock band. They really show off their girl power charm.

They’re track “Crazy Over You” is totally the perfect song to rock to while the title track is a great post-breakup song. On “Everytime You Go” you get to hear a softer sound to the girl group, which is refreshing.

I think their song “Saturdays and Sundays” will really appeal to their younger female audience. it’s a lot of fun to jam to and what teen doesn’t love Saturdays and Sundays? Other songs that really stand out on the album are “Unpredictable” and “Don’t Come Crying To Me” which have a way harder sound than the other tracks.

They’re track “Best Friends Forever” is another one of the slower songs and it’s pretty sweet. All in all, I think this album really hits at their target audience. It’s a super fun and relatable album and I’ll sure it’ll do well. It’s current available exclusively on iTunes and will hit store shelves on September 22nd. By the way, did you know that their song “Read Between the Lines” was chosen as Single of the Week by iTunes? Good for them! You can check out the album on iTunes here!

She worked hard at voice and music classes and eventually got recognition through her MySpace page. In particular, she caught the eye of Harve Pierre, the President of Bad Boys Records, who signed her on to his label. He and Sean “P. Diddy" Combs worked as the executive producers for her album What’s Done is Done.

Her two main songs off of the album are “Sideline” and “What’s Done is Done.” What I love about her single “Sideline” is the emotion and the truth behind the lyrics. It truly is a lovely song. And did I mention that it’s a great break-up song? You can also listen to her up-tempo track “What’s Done is Done” here.

They’ll be promoting their debut album by heading out on their own tour. The tour has been going on since the 13th of this month and will continue on through to December.  If you want to know Honor Society will be coming to an arena near you, be sure to continue to check their official MySpace page, where they’ll have dates and venue names available.

Their lead single off of their album is called “Over You” and it is pretty good! I personally, like it.  It reminds me a bit of when Maroon 5 went through that time when they came out with “Makes Me Wonder.” Listen to Honor Society’s “Over You” below.

Okay, really Heidi. Just because you can somewhat carry a tune, does not mean that you’re a singer. Her song certainly does not require much vocal talent and from this video, she’s not all that great of a dancer. So, she lip-synched to the song in order to dance, but her dancing was not only ahead of the music and other dancers, but it was mediocre. It seemed like she was trying to do some Britney Spears type performance, and in my opinion it didn’t work out.

The song is all about a girl whose letting out her “bad girl” side and is darker than her other single. Kristinia describes the song as about a girl who is "taking control her own destiny [yet] doesn’t know who she is". The song does get you moving a bit and the video is pretty basic.
