The nominees for the 36th People’s Choice Awards were released recently, and here are the nominees for the pop-related music categories. Favorite Breakout Artist is for sure going to Lady Gaga, who dominated the charts with several hits this year.
The awards show will be hosted by Queen Latifah and will take place on January 6th, at the Nokia Theatre. Also, don’t forget to vote for your favorites on the official website, because it’s your vote that counts!

The nominees for the 2009 American Music Awards have been announced! Among the most nominated for awards this year were Michael Jackson and Taylor Swift. The Kind of Pop scored five AMA nods and Taylor Swift was nominated six times.
Hopefully Michael Jackson is able to win something, to kind of complete his memory. I think it’s nice that they are giving people the chance to vote for MJ. Do so here. Also, confirmed performers include Alicia Keys, Black Eyed Peas, Jennifer Lopez and Adam Lambert. Sounds like it’s going to be a good show.

Last night, singing beauties, Katy Perry and Taylor Swift enjoyed each other’s company as they went out to dinner together at Hakkasan restaurant in London. The two shared a hug before leaving in their own separate vehicles. While driving from  the restaurant Taylor took to Twitter writing, “@katyperry really puts the ‘fun’ in Fundon.”
