Nicole was supposedly over heard talking about it while at the celebration The Mirage’s 20th anniversary, held in Vegas.

Firstly, I love the original Phantom of the Opera and I am kind of bummed that there is going to be a sequel to it, considering the story felt complete enough. Secondly, can Nicole even act?! It’s a mystery to us until we’re shown. Rumors are rumors, though. We’ll have to see it to believe it!

One of the Dolls, Melody Thornton, broke the news to MTV News, saying, "Right now the Pussycat Dolls are on a break. It’s actually a much-needed break.  It’s like when you’re with your sisters for 24 hours a day and you need to take your own shower."

However, if you’re a big fan, don’t worry because the girls will supposedly reunite. “Yeah, we’re taking a break. No, [we're not broken up] … everybody keeps saying that, but it’s like, let me see who took a break? Dave Chappelle. Remember when Dave Chappelle took that break? OK, maybe Dave Chappelle’s a bad example. What about, like, Hootie and the Blowfish?"

Melody went on to say, "Well, I always tell people that I’ve been working since the beginning of Pussycat Dolls and making records and always staying true to my passion, which is music, ’cause I love it. Absolutely I’m making music. I love it and I’m gonna live it."

According to The Daily Mirror, Kimberly said,  “You know what? Right now, we just finished touring the world. We’re all kind of taking some time to think about ourselves and just relax for a second and I think that we’re just kind of figuring out what is the next step for the Pussycat Dolls. I don’t know the answer yet.”

She adds, “Once we have been on the road together for years at a time, we do come to a point – as soon as we land, we go our separate ways for a while. Then we always talk through text and we always catch up with what each is doing. Twitter has been great to us, Facebook, all of these things. Then we creep back into each other’s lives and we’ll have dinner and hang out girls’ nights, or go out, whatever we need to do to be friends.”

She continues, “We live a sisterhood, a close knit little bubble that we’re stuck in, so instead of it being about business and performing and traveling the world, it’s like, ‘OK, well what about us as people?’.”

Where do you think the future will take PCD? Will they finally break up after all of those rumors? Hopefully, they just do what’s right for them. I a fan of theirs and they definitely pump out some catchy tunes, but whatever makes them happiest is great with me!

Despite these rumors, the creator of the Dolls, Robin Antin took to Twitter where she denied it. She wrote, "The Pussycat Dolls r NOT breaking up…. & IF they ever were, u would hear it from ME 1st."

She also assured fans that the girls will very well be coming out with a third album! She writes, "NOT GOSSIP…Album #3 on the way!"

Kimberly Wyatt, a less featured member of the Dolls said that she’s disappointed about how much attention is on Nicole, “It’s true, there has always been a lot of focus on Nicole which has been hard to deal with sometimes. This group was created with a foundation, they knew exactly what they wanted and they had Nicole as the focus."

Melody Thornton also expressed, “Nicole’s always had extra things going on as opposed to the rest of us, but we have aspirations as well. It’s definitely a huge misconception that we are just chilling and happy to just be members of the group.”

I guess these PCD breakup rumors will just keep on going…

She tells Contact Music, “It’s a dance pop record and I’m so excited by it. It’s not the end of the band. It’s the foundation for all solo projects. We are all independent girls, but will always be Pussycat Dolls as well."

The singer also recently had some harsh things to say about Nicole and her domination. She tells The Sun, “It’s true, there has always been a lot of focus on Nicole which has been hard to deal with sometimes. This group was created with a foundation, they knew exactly what they wanted and they had Nicole as the focus."

She continued, "Every video and stage performance that we’ve done, Nicole has been our leader. I wasn’t in videos like I wanted and wasn’t seen in the way I was hoping, which has been the same for all the other girls too. I don’t really make any of the decisions, I’m in the group and can voice my opinions to a degree but at the end of the day it is a business and there are a lot of chefs in the kitchen that run the Pussycat Dolls."

I really hope that Kimberly is able to get it together and come out with a hit album. It must be pretty disappointing to be thought of as an “extra” to Nicole. We’ll just have to wait and see how she does!

The “Whatever U Like” songstress revealed, ”I never have and I never will. I grew up singing and this is what I do. I would be a horrible lip-syncher. I would only ever sing live – that’s why people come and see the show.”

Nicole continues on by saying that she understands why some might look to that instead, “It’s not the easiest thing in the world to sing and dance at the same time, which is why I’m grateful to be able to do both.”

She was also asked if sex was important to her, to which she replied by saying, "No, making love is important to me… but music is more important. Having my relationship so much in the spotlight definitely makes things interesting. It’s not easy, but where there’s a will there’s a way."

She definitely seems to be taking her career really seriously. I think she just needs to make sure that she’s not taking it too far. I mean, hopefully her boyfriend, Lewis Hamilton wasn’t too offended by that last comment.

She explains, ‘I’m very shy, but when I get on stage a whole other person comes out. The connection with the audience gives me this energy and I just come alive. But, when I was growing up, I was unbelievably awkward and shy and conservative. It’s funny, people hear the music and watch  me perform, and think I’m very intimidating, but if they were to meet me they would see that, underneath it all, I’m still that shy girl.”

The singer also went on to talk about her relationship to the other members of PCD. She says, ‘We are like a sisterhood, a family. We know when we need to give one another space and when we need to have a good laugh. The girls are always there for me and vice versa but, for the most part, I have always been a quiet person who walks to the beat of her own drum, so I can often be found on my own because I am thinking about work all the time.”

Nicole also dished on her relationship to Formula 1 race car driver, Lewis Hamilton, ‘We are very similar and can relate to one another a lot. We are both driven people who are serious about our work, so we are very supportive of the time we do have together. Finding time for each other can get complicated, but we find a way to work it out. And it just makes things more interesting when we do get together.”

I would have never guessed that Nicole is a shy person! That’s what being an entertainer is all about I guess!

Well, that’s good. I’m a fan of PCD so I’d be disappointed if they broke up. The Black Eyed Peas are also reportedly going through a similar situation stemming from Fergie’s recent solo career. Hopefully, both groups will be able to pull it together.
