The song was written by OneRepublic’s frontman, Ryan Tedder and the album will be released on November 17th. It’s been a crazy past week for Leona after some major drama that went down in Germany. While at a book signing, a man identified as Peter Kowalczyk came up to her and punched her for no apparent reason. Truly awful and traumatizing. But I’m sure she’s been able to try to push it past her as she releases this music video.

She was really excited about this single, so I’m sure she’s glad to have it shared with the world. i love the message of it and the music video is touching as well.

She reveals, “Oh my god — he has got the tiniest little space. It is like a drawer and I have a room full of stuff! I can’t help it though. I don’t think he really minds.”

Also talking about her boyfriend, Leona says it’s hard to be apart all the time. She told Cosmopolitan magazine, “When I first came here [America] I wasn’t sure if I liked it. It’s taken a while because I love being at home with my family and I miss them when they’re not here.”

She continued “Obviously, a long-distance relationship is hard. But, like anything worth having, you make it work. You just have to keep the communication open — we Skype, we chat, we email. And he comes out when he can.”

They must really love each other! It seems like they’ve been able to make it work this far!

The wax figure reportedly cost $300,000 (£150,000) to create and in the figure, Leona will be dressed in the same dress she wore at the closing ceremony of the Beijing Summer Olympics (see Leona in the dress in the photo to the right) . Leona went in for referencing for her wax double and had to take 300 measurements and a bunch of pictures! Gosh…

Though, I’m sure that took a while, Leona says it was all worth it, “It is such an honor to be asked by Madame Tussauds to join the other waxwork music stars. It has been a lifelong dream since I visited the attraction as a child to be immortalized in wax. I now can’t wait to meet my wax double!”

I’m sure she’s really excited to see the final product after it’s revealed next month! I’m interested too!

Lewis says of naming this newest album, “I titled my album Echo since an echo describes a big, organic sound.”

Leona also adds, “I’m in the midst of the recording process, working with incredible songwriters and producers and my music has really evolved. It’s so exciting to create something new.”

Her Spirit album sold over 6 million copies, earned her three Grammy awards, and caused her to become  the first British female artist to enter the US Billboard Top 200 album chart at number 1. Hopefully, Leona will be able to continue being successful, though it might be hard to top how well her first album did.   Are any of you excited for the release of Leona’s Echo album?

Justin Timberlake and Leona are supposed to duet together for a cover of Whitney Houston’s hit song “I Will Always Love You.”  A source says, "They will record the track in the next few months and are just waiting for a period when they’re both free to go into the studio. Leona and Justin are huge fans of each other’s music and are raring to go."

I cannot wait to hear what that will sound like!!

The tour is supposed to have a Garden of Eden theme. In addition, the choreography who worked with Michael Jackson on his “This Is It” tour is said to be working with Leona Lewis on this tour as well.  Shaheen got international recognition after performing “Who’s Loving You” at Michael Jackson’s memorial service on July 7th.  It was certainly a powerful and well done performance and definitely left a lasting impression on me. He’s got a great voice, so I’m sure it’s going to be a great show with both him and Leona!

She has been working hard on her newest album, bringing out people like Justin Timberlake and Ryan Tedder to help her out. American artist, Novel, recently had some sweet things about Leona.

He says, “She knows exactly what she wants. She’s very strong-headed, strong-minded, but the sweetest person. I never had somebody tell me no in the nicest way. When I write something and she may not feel it, she goes [in British accent], ‘I don’t think I’d actually say that.’”

Looks like Leona has been quite busy getting this album together and preparing for the tour!

A source tells The Sun that Leona is making progress, “Seeing as Leona is on the path to becoming a global touring powerhouse, no corners will be cut. She already has bags more poise and confidence than she used to but she’s a natural born worrier.

The source continues, “Bosses at SyCo want to make sure her performance is as perfect and polished as an artist who has been around for years.”

Leona has said that there is no way she would ever be seen wearing just her underwear in front of the camera. She explains, “I wouldn’t do that. I’m not against it, I just don’t have the confidence to stand there in a bra and knickers.”

Hopefully, Leona will be able to get past her insecurities and shine as brightly as she can. I’m sure it can’t be easy being a shy person in the music industry.

The singer was originally going to give the homeless man $20 for the rabbit but then decided to give him $100 so that he could use the rest to pay for some food.

Leona has decided to name the rabbit Melrose, a fitting name, and is keeping it at her Hollywood Hills home, where she has a garden.

A source said, "She was shopping on Melrose Avenue last week when she spotted it being kept on a lead by a homeless man. She didn’t think life on a lead was any way for a rabbit to live – then when he said he was going to eat it she knew she had to save it. Now it has the run of her garden without the fear of being cooked for dinner."

That was certainly kind. I think it’s great that she gave him additional money so that he would be able to buy himself something to eat. It’s a win-win situation!
