More Footage of Lady Gaga Before She Was Famous

Many people got pretty excited by seeing some video footage of Lady Gaga from before she was famous, back when she was just Stefani Germanotta. Now some more vintage performances have emerged, featuring a brunette and plainer looking Gaga.

It’s just so crazy how much she has transformed herself. Seriously. With all of the glitter and elaborate outfits, it’s hard to think of her as the same person. Towards the end, one woman even makes a comparison between her and Norah Jones, whereas she’s now more the Madonna of our age. Anyways, check out the vintage Gaga performance below!

Lady Gaga Not Eligible For Best New Artist Award at Grammys

Though it seemed pretty clear that Lady Gaga would be bringing home the award for Best New Artist at the 2010 Grammy Awards, a rule change has affected the nominees for that category, making Gaga ineligible for the award.

Apparently, because her first single, “Just Dance” was nominated at last year’s Grammy Awards she no longer counts as a new artist.

That sucks for her! I’m sure she was thinking no one else had a chance of winning. You guys have any other clues as to who might bring home the award? My money’s on Keri Hilson.

Lady Gaga’s Appearance on Gossip Girl – Video

Pop singing superstar, Lady Gaga was on last night’s episode of Gossip Girl, “The Last Days of Disco Stick”. Gaga was on the show to promote and perform her new single, “Bad Romance.”

Nominees for the 2009 People’s Choice Awards Revealed!

The nominees for the 36th People’s Choice Awards were released recently, and here are the nominees for the pop-related music categories. Favorite Breakout Artist is for sure going to Lady Gaga, who dominated the charts with several hits this year.

The awards show will be hosted by Queen Latifah and will take place on January 6th, at the Nokia Theatre. Also, don’t forget to vote for your favorites on the official website, because it’s your vote that counts!

Lady Gaga Premieres “Bad Romance” Music Video

Pop singing sensation Lady Gaga has released the music video for her newest track, “Bad Romance”, off of her album, The Fame: Monster, which is in stores on November 23rd.

She says of the music video,“There’s this one shot in the video where I get kidnapped by supermodels. I’m washing away my sins and they shove vodka down my throat to drug me up before they sell me off to the Russian mafia."

Also, Gaga wants you to know that she’s been thinking about us and our pocket book, "I have been fighting with my record label because my album as a re-release was entirely too expensive for my fans. So last night I ripped it in half."

Of course, Gaga can be seen wearing a bunch of different styles in the video, but I have to ask, does anyone else find the Gaga with the reddish blonde hair to be kind of creepy?! Anyways, the song and video are odd, but you can’t help but like it.

Lady Gaga Will Get a Tattoo For Her Dad

Lady Gaga’s father, Joseph underwent open-heart surgery last week and is now on the mend. In tribute to her daddy, Gaga will be getting a tattoo in his name to go with the other eight that she already has.

Lady Gaga says of her plans, "I’m gonna get a tattoo for him this week. I’m gonna get a heart that says ‘Dad’ in it."

She’s actually been taking care of him for about two weeks now, nursing him back to health. When she told her dad about the tattoo, "he got all teary-eyed and he said, ‘Well, you’re running out of real estate, so don’t get it too big.’"

Those are some wise words…I’ve never been much of a fan of tattoo’s, but it is kind of nice when you’re doing it for something special like this.

Lady Gaga Saturday Night Live Promo – Video

Make sure you guys don’t forget to tune in because Lady Gaga will be gracing the stage tomorrow night on Saturday Night Live. She’ll be performing her hit, “Paparazzi” along with another song that hasn’t been released yet.

No doubt, Gaga will not disappoint! Actor Ryan Reynolds will be hosting the show and appears in some promo vids with Lady Gaga. Despite the fact that SNL is a funny show, their promos really aren’t all that comedic . It’s okay, I love it anyway!

Lady Gaga Talks Kanye West/Taylor Swift Drama

Recently, Lady Gaga was asked what she thought of the incident involving Kanye West and Taylor Swift at the VMAs this year. When talking about Kanye interrupting Taylor’s acceptance speech she says that it’s "unfair to judge somebody on one mistake they’ve made." ,

She defends the rapper, saying that "everybody makes mistakes."

She continued, "He feels so f***ing bad. He really does. I think that everyone can get so caught up in gossip and stuff. I felt like that moment kind of like really portrayed him in a way that he really isn’t. It was just a random moment."

She and Kanye are going on tour soon together, so I’m sure they’ve gotten close and she felt the need to defend him. But this isn’t the first time that Kanye’s done something like that…

Dark-Haired Lady Gaga Before She Got Famous!

Holy smokes. Could this be any weirder? Some video footage has been released of Lady Gaga before she was Lady Gaga. Before all the fame and fortune. Probably when she was still going by the name Stefani Angelina Joanne Germanotta.

Here, you’ll see her singing to a song called “Hollywood”, flaunting her natural brown locks, without all the elaborate costumes and makeup. It’s just so weird. After getting to know the insane Gaga that people have come to love (and even hate), it’s so odd to watch her as a toned down, deglamorized version of herself. And this was just in January of 2006!

She doesn’t even sound the same! What a transformation she’s made. I know that she said she had to change her hair because people said she looked too much like Amy Winehouse, but geez, this is really taking it a step further.

It’s always so interesting to see how people got their start. Check out the clip and let me know what you think!
