Lady Gaga’s father, Joseph underwent open-heart surgery last week and is now on the mend. In tribute to her daddy, Gaga will be getting a tattoo in his name to go with the other eight that she already has.
Lady Gaga says of her plans, "I’m gonna get a tattoo for him this week. I’m gonna get a heart that says ‘Dad’ in it."

Make sure you guys don’t forget to tune in because Lady Gaga will be gracing the stage tomorrow night on Saturday Night Live. She’ll be performing her hit, “Paparazzi” along with another song that hasn’t been released yet.
No doubt, Gaga will not disappoint! Actor Ryan Reynolds will be hosting the show and appears in some promo vids with Lady Gaga. Despite the fact that SNL is a funny show, their promos really aren’t all that comedic . It’s okay, I love it anyway!

Recently, Lady Gaga was asked what she thought of the incident involving Kanye West and Taylor Swift at the VMAs this year.  When talking about Kanye interrupting Taylor’s acceptance speech she says that it’s "unfair to judge somebody on one mistake they’ve made." ,
She defends the rapper, saying that "everybody makes mistakes."

What would this year in music have been without hearing Lady Gaga’s catchy songs over and over again? The singer really has made her place in the music industry and it seems like Billboard wants to acknowledge her for that.
It was announced at the Women in Music event this week that Billboard has named Gaga is their “Rising Star” this year.
