A source said, "Russell was just messing around in the studio with Katy. He was pretending to sing into the microphone and started reciting the poem, ‘The Owl And The Pussycat’, reciting some of the more interesting parts of the poems. By the title of the poem, you’ll have a vague idea of what Russell was saying!

A source also revealed, "They often use the nicknames Owl and Pussycat. Russell is ‘Owl’ because he’s wise and, well, it’s fairly obvious that Katy’s a sex kitten, isn’t it?"

It was after it was recorded that they realized that it was actually decent. According to an insider, "That’s when it dawned on everyone. It was actually really good. With work, it could be a really interesting track, evocative of The Goons or Monty Python. They were very harmonious. Everyone was transfixed."

Katy’s old boyfriend, Travis McCoy of the Gym Class Heroes, says that he might write a song about what happened between  he and her after she left him, and shortly began dating Russell. He says,  "I can’t sit here and lie and say that what went down between her and I won’t be a present on the record. But we’ll have to wait and see."

I can’t imagine what the song must have sounded like. It definitely must have been silly!

He says of his new girlfriend, "Katy’s lovely. I am living in a different way at the moment. Regardless of what happens in my current situation, I am unlikely to be satisfied with calamitous promiscuity of the preceding five or six years.”

He reveals to the British Sunday Times, "I am ready for children actually. It’s been seven years since I took drugs. I’ve made a film. I don’t have to fight so much. I’ve grown weary of the carousel. I’m an only child of a single mother – it probably meant that I’m demanding and have high expectations of women."

Adding, "I look for salvation and redemption, to be utterly embraced. It’s a ridiculous, romantic and tragic idea that there’s someone who’s going to save you, that we need our own personal Jesus. Salvation comes from within.”

Um…wow. I don’t know about you guys, but I’m just getting used to the fact that they’re together at all, never mind the thought of them having children!

Their manager, Simon Fuller broke the news saying, "They stand for so much in British music history and I can’t think of a better time for them to get back together for another performance."

He added, "The demand for them as a band is as strong as ever. They will not want to be performing hits like Wannabe in their 40s, but it’s amazing how often people talk about another reunion. And I think if they do it, it’s going to be in 2012."

What do you guys think about this? I’m really not sure how I feel. I mean, they really have been a big part of British music, and they have a great fan base, but performing at the Olympics? I’m just not quite on board for that.

He tells People, "You never know what the future holds. Anything could happen. We’re all just being ourselves for a little while."

He continues, "I think when the stars are aligned, the time is right, and all five of us have our heads on straight and know the direct ion we’re going as a band, it’ll eventually happen. If not, I know we’ll be best friends forever."

When asked if he would ever consider following in Lance and Joey’s footsteps, and try a hand at Dancing with the Stars, Chris says, "That will never happen. That’s not really my thing. Joey and Lance it were perfect for it – they’re great dancers and real spunky. I’ve had two knee surgeries in the last three years. I just worry that I might buckle, literally, on stage."

Wow. I loved *NSYNC, and it’d be crazy if they ever reunited! Although, I think I might be getting tired of all these older bands coming back for more. Would you guys like a reunion for them? By the way, Justin’s ‘fro in the photo above is unbelievable. Had almost forgotten about it!

Russell is anything but wholesome and Katy apparently wants her parents to accept him for who he is. A source says, "Katy is as besotted with Russell as he is with her. However, her parents are extraordinarily strict Christians.”

The insider continued, "Katy is sure that, after a bit of getting used to him, they would approve of Russell, but she wants to get that initial meeting out of the way as early as she can. Keith and Mary are devoted to the church and hold the institution of marriage as a central core of their beliefs.”

Wow. Well, Katy’s not so innocent herself, so her parents should be used to it!

Nicole was supposedly over heard talking about it while at the celebration The Mirage’s 20th anniversary, held in Vegas.

Firstly, I love the original Phantom of the Opera and I am kind of bummed that there is going to be a sequel to it, considering the story felt complete enough. Secondly, can Nicole even act?! It’s a mystery to us until we’re shown. Rumors are rumors, though. We’ll have to see it to believe it!

Friends of Russell say that he has found love. They report on when he two will go public, "You will find out very soon,” said a source.

The insider continues, "Russell has fancied Katy for ages and was like an excited schoolboy after they got together. He really sees her as an ideal catch and is prepared to stop seeing other girls. He doesn’t want to talk about it yet as he doesn’t want to blow his chances."

One of Katy’s friends supposedly said, "She knows about Russell’s reputation but finds him really charming and funny. She’s keen to make a go of it.”

What do you guys think? Is Katy all done with boyfriend Travis McCoy, and will she and Russell truly become an item? We’ll have to wait and see!

An insider claims, "Lacey went into an LA studio on Oct. 1 and began work on her debut album, which is due in early 2010. She recorded two potential hit singles during her first two days in the studio.

So, what kind of tunes can we expect from the ballroom dancer? According to the source, "Her music is in a dance-and-pop vein, and one of these songs will definitely be released as a single in November. I heard some rough mixes of the first two songs. They’re amazing. They really make you want to get up and dance."

That certainly is interesting. I‘m kind of tired of everyone thinking they can come out with an album lately. I like Lacey as a dancer, but we’ll just have to wait until we hear some tracks and see how it turns out. But for the mean time we’ve got pics of her recording her debut album!

Gerri said, “Fundamentally we are friends first and foremost. We started out that way, that very strong friendship, and whatever happens afterwards is a bonus. We always talk about creative plans and possibilities, definitely…And yes [we did talk about that last week].

She went on to say, “Right now, we are gathering information and thinking about possibilities, but when you’re evolving a plan you don’t share it to the world until it’s concrete. If they do cement themselves, I’ll be the first to tell you.”
