Miley beat out Britney Spears (second place) and Kanye West (third place), seemingly because of the ‘>pole dancing controversy, in which Miley stood on top of an ice cream cart, which had a pole on it and was being pushed across the stage at the Teen Choice Awards.

Editor of the website, Stephanie Cohen, says "I think Miley is in an interesting space where she is trying to graduate from being ‘Hannah Montana’ and a Disney channel celebrity and coming into her own and having a career beyond Disney."

She adds, "I think her fans still want her to be the sweet Hannah Montana and she is trying to age up…Parents are definitely resisting it."

Vanessa Hudgens (High School Musical) came in fourth, while Transformers star Shia LaBeouf came in fifth. Though, there might not be a real feud going on between Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez, Miley can be jealous of Selena for one thing: Selena was voted the Best Influence of this year, with best friend Taylor Swift coming in second. Nick Jonas came in third, Emma Watson in fourth and Justin Bieber in fifth.

I was just outraged that Britney Spears was voted the second worst. She should be seen more of as a comeback story. This year has been big for her. She is finally getting over that dark moment in her life, came out with and awesome record and is rocking it out. It’s a great story, and certainly not deserving to be worst over Kanye West…

And it’s pretty harsh that Miley was voted the absolute worst. Do you think Miley deserved the title? She has made quite a few thoughtless decisions, and she does seem to be trying to grow up way too fast, but is this title too harsh?

The singer filed a legal document against Da Family Entertainment and asked to be released of her contract and given at least $500, 000 compensation. Her last album was Taking the High Road which was released in 2006 and her fans have been wondering where in the world she’s been.

She said of the situation, "I don’t know what my other options are, I don’t wanna keep my fans waiting, I don’t wanna keep my family, my friends and myself waiting."

She’s also said that this has been super inconvenient for her due to the fact that she was unsure whether top just ditch music, or to keep trying. After waiting so long, you can’t blame her for being upset!

Now, she is happy to say that things have been settled. She wrote on her Twitter page,  "The deal is done! Blackground/Interscope Longtime comin’…"

Sheesh. Hopefully, they compensated her for all the waiting. Are You guys excited at all to start hearing some of her new music?

Miley’s final Tweet last night read: "FYI Liam doesn’t have a twitter and he wants ME to delete mine with good reason."

Though, Miley hasn’t officially confirmed this is the reason why (and neither has Liam), it seems she’s stopped Tweeting just for some guy. Way to ruin Miley’s party in the USA, Liam! Or rather her party in the Twitter world, at least.

Twitter Queen, Perez Hilton was all abuzz about it as well. Now, Miley’s fans and daddy, Billy Ray Cyrus seem to want to get her back on board. Her fans on Twitter have now created their own online organization called “Mileycomeback”, which has now become one of the biggest trending topics on Twitter. Her mom, Tish also deleted her account.

Billy, who kept his account, wrote on his page, “Miley. You are a light in a world of darkness. You were born "Destiny Hope Cyrus" for a reason.You can’t leave everyone now.We r countin on u.”

I understand that Twitter has gotten some people super addicted, and Miley surely had her fun with it, but deleting her account is a bit drastic. Miles had 1.1 million followers, so hopefully she won’t just leave her fans hanging like that!

She defends the rapper, saying that "everybody makes mistakes."

She continued, "He feels so f***ing bad. He really does. I think that everyone can get so caught up in gossip and stuff. I felt like that moment kind of like really portrayed him in a way that he really isn’t. It was just a random moment."

She and Kanye are going on tour soon together, so I’m sure they’ve gotten close and she felt the need to defend him. But this isn’t the first time that Kanye’s done something like that…

However, when asked about it, Gaga refuses to truly acknowledge it.  She says, You know what, it’s just too low-brow for me to even discuss. “I’ve made fun of it it before, to even talk about it is just ridiculous.

“She continues, I’m an accomplished musician and I’d much rather talk about my fans and my music than a silly rumor.”

In the past, however, Bossip has reported that Gaga stated this:

“It’s not something that I’m ashamed of, just isn’t something that I go around telling everyone. Yes. I have both male and female genitalia, but I consider myself a female. It’s just a little bit of a penis and really doesn’t interfere much with my life. The reason I haven’t talked about it is that it’s not a big deal to me. Like come on. It’s not like we all go around talking about our vags. I think this is a great opportunity to make other multiple gendered people feel more comfortable with their bodies. I’m sexy, I’m hot. I have both a poon and a peener. Big f*cking deal.”

According to The Daily Mirror, Kimberly said,  “You know what? Right now, we just finished touring the world. We’re all kind of taking some time to think about ourselves and just relax for a second and I think that we’re just kind of figuring out what is the next step for the Pussycat Dolls. I don’t know the answer yet.”

She adds, “Once we have been on the road together for years at a time, we do come to a point – as soon as we land, we go our separate ways for a while. Then we always talk through text and we always catch up with what each is doing. Twitter has been great to us, Facebook, all of these things. Then we creep back into each other’s lives and we’ll have dinner and hang out girls’ nights, or go out, whatever we need to do to be friends.”

She continues, “We live a sisterhood, a close knit little bubble that we’re stuck in, so instead of it being about business and performing and traveling the world, it’s like, ‘OK, well what about us as people?’.”

Where do you think the future will take PCD? Will they finally break up after all of those rumors? Hopefully, they just do what’s right for them. I a fan of theirs and they definitely pump out some catchy tunes, but whatever makes them happiest is great with me!

One of his  friends, Rob Dyrdek dished a bit about what his mom thought of John. Rob’s mother supposedly thinks John Mayer is a bad influence on her adult son.

Rob is the star of MTV’s show, Fantasy Factory and was seen being carried out of a club by John in June. Momma didn’t like that much. According to Rob, “My mother was so disappointed.”

He continues, “She went to instantly not liking him and thinking he was a bad influence on me. She used to be like, ‘John Mayer’s so great!’. And then after that she was like, ‘No John! I don’t care how famous you are, John.’”

“My mom knows that the paparazzi ain’t chasing me, and that me going out with him and acting like I was drunk — like he influenced me to be the guy getting carried out of the club. She was like, ‘John, how come you didn’t get carried out of a club?’. I got the bad end of it,” explains Rob.

Well, I certainly don’t think John is anybody’s role model, but who cares when you’re grooving to one of his many hits?

However, on Twitter, Perez Hilton can be quoted as saying, Katy "never gave any interview to the British media talking about Lady Gaga being a hermaphrodite."

After he posted this, Katy responded on her Twitter page with, "THANK U! WED I was in the f—ing AIR on a 24-hr flight from Australia. So unless I was using a phone from the plane, press is out of control."

Amazing how Twitter can be used in the right. I think it’s great that celebs now have this direct way of clearing up rumors. Anyway, it’s got to be pretty darn annoying to be constantly misquoted. Thankfully, she cleared it all up. Although, what Katy had “supposedly” said about Gaga, was what I was already thinking anyways.

However, father Billy Ray Cyrus defended his daughter’s choice to pole dance, telling Access Hollywood, "You know what? I just think that Miley loves entertaining people. She loves singing [and] songwriting."

He explains that he taught them to worry about themselves and not other people’s opinions, "I always tell her to love what you’re doing and stay focused for the love of the art and not worry so much about opinion," he said. He also told Us magazine, “I give my kids a lot of freedom to make the art they wanna make, and make it in their own voice. I think it’s important."

Following the performance, Disney said they don’t want to be held responsible for anything that happened involving Miley at the TCAs, "Disney Channel won’t be commenting on that performance, although parents can rest assured that all content presented on the Disney Channel is age-appropriate for our audience — kids 6-14 — and consistent with what our brand values are."

I think the pole dancing, what she was wearing and how she was moving that night was just so inappropriate. I don’t think kids should be looking up at celebs as role models, but I think that when you intentionally put yourself in the spotlight, you need to present yourself in the best way possible. Miley is still a kid and pole dancing at the Teen Choice Awards is just wrong. Maybe if it was at the VMAs or something, but that event was for teens.  I do have to say that the girl does know how to sing well live, though. Here’s the video in case you missed it:

However, singer Katy Perry is not falling for it.  She tells the Daily Mirror, "Oh, please. It’s all very calculated. She knows what she’s doing. She put something in her knickers, a mini strap-on. Bless her if she does have a di–, but I am certain she doesn’t."

MTV News tried to get a word from Katy Perry’s spokesperson regarding her comments in the Mirror but got no reply. The same was true for Lady Gaga’s spokesperson.

I agree with Katy, for once. I believe this was a total publicity stunt from Gaga. It seems totally like something Lady Gaga would do, just to get some attention and get people started. However, I find it kind of ironic that Katy Perry is calling Gaga out since Perry is probably second best to Gaga in the attention-seeking category. Anyways, do you guys think Gaga’s just starting trouble?
