Katy Perry Enjoys Herself During Paris Fashion Week

Singer Katy Perry has been in Paris, France where she has indulged in attending several of the fashion shows that have been put on for Paris Fashion Week. The fashion shows that she attended were for those of designers Jean Paul Gaultier, Karl Lagerfeld and Sonia Rykiel.

The “Waking Up in Vegas” songstress was actually looking pretty good throughout the whole weekend. She even met up with Rihanna at one of the shows. Check out the pics below!

VMA Fashion: Who Wore it Best – Pink or Shakira?

The 2009 MTV Video Music Awards was full of nice style choices, and thankfully, there weren’t too many train wrecks. It seemed like most people were on the right track – some of the attendees thinking so much alike that they even showed up wearing the same outfit.

Singers, Pink and Shakira were both spotted wearing the same Balmain mini with sequins. I thought both ladies looked quite nice, but I want to know who you guys think worked this mini dress the best.

Lady Gaga Poses Nude in September Issue of V Magazine

For the first time, Lady Gaga is gracing the cover of V magazine. The singer held a photo shoot shot by Mario Testino and posed for a bunch of nude photos and totally went for it. Some interesting poses she’s got there…

Editor in Chief for the magazine, Stephen Gan said of Gaga, "When the Marc Jacobs pink hooded coat and glasses came down the runway, I knew there was only one person I wanted to see in it: Lady Gaga. Growing up as a kid obsessed with new wave, I would cut up paper sunglasses and put them on to celebs’ faces on magazine covers. These plastic peel on and peel off glasses come in pink and blue and are actually based on the Marc Jacobs ones that came down the runway!"

This isn’t the first time that Gaga is posing for V. In July, she posed for some risqué pics as well. Here’s her cover for the mag:

Kate Voegele Does Myspace’s ‘The Fit’ – Video

What girl doesn’t love shopping? The “99 Times” singer, Kate Voegele sure does. She was on Myspace’s “The Fit” recently where she went shopping around some great stores on Robertson Blvd in Los Angeles. Being a performer, it’s important for Kate to look good on stage so she hit up some of the best shops including Intermix, Rock & Republic and Diavolina. She ended up finding some pretty rocking outfits. Not only is Kate a great singer and songwriter, but she also seems like a really sweet, fun and down-to-earth girl.

PETA Wants Lady Gaga to Pose Nude in Anti-Fur Campaign

Lady Gaga gets a lot of attention for the wacky outfits she wears, but instead of having her flaunt her signature “out there” styles, PETA would like to see Gaga get naked – all for their campaign of course. After wearing a much-talked-about Kermit the frog outfit, Ryan Seacrest asked Gaga on his radio show what she was hoping to accomplish by wearing it.

She responded with, "I really loved [it. Because I thought it was [a] commentary on not wearing fur. I hate fur, and I don’t wear fur."

After that, PETA fell in love. Chief, Dan Mathews said that he pitched the idea to Gaga about appearing in their no-fur campaign. The idea of the shoot would be Gaga only covered in playing cards, a kind of reference to her hit single “Poker Face.” However, Lady Gaga has not yet responded to the animal rights organization.

Gaga got pretty risqué in her photo shoot with V magazine, so this shouldn’t be too much of a step outside her comfort zone.

Katy Perry Talks Fashion and Staying in Shape

In a recent interview, pop singer Katy Perry dished out some of her secrets for staying in shape and looking good. She says two of the main ways that she keeps herself looking slim is by swimming and through jumping rope.

She elaborates, “Jumping rope and swimming will get you in top shape like that. Swimming will get you into shape without hurting anything on your body, but I just don’t like to be out in the sun necessarily, so I defer to jumping rope. I kind of look like Rocky.”

She also wants us to know that names and labels don’t mean a thing when it comes to fashion, “It doesn’t matter who makes it, where it comes from, whether it’s your grandmother’s closet or it’s a couture showroom. If it looks good on you, wear it!”

Katy also recently spoke about what style influences she’s had in the past and what look she tries to go for currently.

She says, "Clueless was a fabulous inspiration to me in the ’90s! So were Shirley Manson, a young Gwen Stefani, Madonna and Courtney Love. Now I idolize Dita Von Teese, Agyness Deyn, Bjork, Natalia Vodianova, and always Lolita."

Well, that seems to be good advice. Designer clothes aren’t the only pieces of clothing that can look fabulous!

Lady Gaga Poses Nude for V Magazine

In a shocking new photo shoot with V Magazine, Lady Gaga strips down and gets revealing in the magazine’s latest issue. The photo shoot takes place on some sort of beach and Gaga is seen posing while rolling around in the sand. She can be seen wearing a bunch of different outfits. They range from white lace dress, to blue sequined outfits among others.

Likely the most eye-catching would be the S&M inspired leather thing that’s revealing almost all of her breast. Well, as exciting as it is, it’s not all that surprising from Gaga. I mean, we practically see these kinds of things on a regular basis when she gets on stage. With pictures like this and this going around, I have a hard time being shocked . Justin Timberlake Launches William Rast Fashion Line in London

Justin Timberlake was in England yesterday where he launched the latest collection from his William Rast fashion line. The fashion show was held at the Selfridges department store in London to launch his Fall 2009 line. I won’t lie. I think that Justin has a pretty good sense of style. I’d likely buy some of his collection. Do you guys own any William Rast?

I know that Esmée Denters, his latest pupil,has said that she likes it, “I actually got some pieces and I really like the line a lot. The jeans fit perfect. So yeah, he [Justin Timberlake] hooked me up a little bit.”

Britney Spears Goes Brunette – Love It or Leave it?

It’s been a while since we’ve seen Britney Spears flaunting a chocolate brown ‘do. Usually this pop princess goes blonde, however, I guess she decided to switch it up recently! She was spotted Sunday shopping with boyfriend and manager, Jason Trawick sporting the new look. I prefer her blonde look over the brunette, mostly because it‘s a more light-hearted look, but I think that this brown gives her a more mature, down-to-earth look. Lady Gaga Talks About Her Style

It’s a topic of marvel for many people out there: Lady Gaga’s wardrobe. The “Paparazzi” singer dished a bit on how she decides what she’s going to wear and which iconic figures have been an influential force for her in terms of style.

When asked about how she makes decisions about what she’s going to where, she reveals, “Rock, Paper Scissors.”

The singer elaborates, “Most of my references are from the past. I am mostly inspired by past designers and icons. I love Grace Jones and David Bowie. I really love people who have a strong iconic shape to who they are.”

Unlike most celebrities, you probably won’t see her normal looking clothes. She wouldn’t want to let down her fans, “That’s a very dangerous precedent, and it’s not fair to my fans. They don’t want to see me that way, just like I don’t want to see David Bowie in a tracksuit. He never let anyone see him that way.

She continues, “The outlet for my work is not just the music and the videos, it’s every breathing moment of my life. I’m always saying something about art and music and fame. That’s why you don’t ever catch me in sweatpants.”

So, I guess the show is going to be nonstop with Lady Gaga. At least she seems to be really super devoted to being a performer. That’s good to know.
