Pretty much everyone who watched the 2009 Teen Choice Awards seemed offended by the fact that 16-year-old Disney star, Miley Cyrus was dancing on a pole during her performance of the song “Party in the U.S.A.”
However, father Billy Ray Cyrus defended his daughter’s choice to pole dance, telling Access Hollywood, "You know what? I just think that Miley loves entertaining people. She loves singing [and] songwriting."

The hosts of the 2009 Teen Choice Awards, the Jonas Brothers, kicked off the show with a performance of their song “Much Better”, a song aimed at dissing Joe’s former girlfriend Taylor Swift. The crowd seemed o really love it and the Jo Bros did a pretty good job performing it! With all that grunting Nick was doing, hopefully he’ll be able to talk tomorrow!
I have to give them credit for being young and talented, playing their instruments and singing live. Good for them. Not to mention they were looking good. Enjoy their performance below!

Did you guys watch the 2009 Teen Choice Awards last night? It was a good show! The event was hosted by pop band the Jonas Brothers and was held at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California. I was expecting more wins from Lady Gaga as well as Britney Spears, but other than that, I didn’t find the show full of too many surprises.
Britney Spears was honored with the Ultimate Choice Award, so good for her! Were there any people who you guys thought should or shouldn’t have won?

Teen sensation Miley Cyrus was in attendance at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards last night with a ton of accessories. She wore a simple white shirt and black skirt combination. I just find Miley presents herself in a certain way that’s not necessarily good. With the mini skirt and this pose, it just seems to me like she’s trying way too hard to be sexier and older than she really is. But I guess teen girls will do that.

Black Eyed Peas member, Fergie was in attendance at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards wearing a black and rainbow colored dress. Um…yeah. I’m not liking that very much. It just looks cheap to me, as well as the shoes. But I am really glad she’s decided to stick with the brunette look. 

Fergie also took photos with her fellow bandmates, who brought some unique style to the show.

Photographed arriving at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards was singer JoJo. She chose to wear a soft, cream colored dress and definitely looked pretty. The dress would look a lot better if it didn’t have that pattern on the front. 
It’s been a little while since we’ve heard anything new from JoJo. According to her, that’s her record label’s fault. Hopefully she’ll get back on the scene sometime soon.  Enjoy the pics!

Last night, the Jonas Brothers provided the hosting duties at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards. They were photographed arriving at the event, held at the Gibson Amphitheatre, and all three of them looked good.
Not only did they host the show, but they also performed alongside fellow Disney star Miley Cyrus. Make sure to catch the boys tonight at 8pm ET!

American Idol winner, Jordin Sparks attended the 2009 Teen Choice Awards last night and was full of smiles, as usual. Jordin looked good, in my opinion. The dress made her look a little bigger around the hips, but I love the color and the little pops of orange on her nails and her purse.  Her hair looked soft and wavy and I loved the neutrality of her makeup. Jordin clearly scores in the fashion department!

Last night, the 2009 Teen Choice Awards were held at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California. Shining brightly was pop goddess Britney Spears. It’s so nice to see her out and about and looking great! She’s in good shape and she’s almost always got a smile on her face.

How awesome is this?! The lovely Britney Spears has had a major comeback with her newest album, Circus. She’s topping the charts and selling tickets like crazy. For a while there things got so hectic in her life that a lot of us were actually concerned for Britney’s safety. And surely don’t have to go into her “Gimme More” performance during the 2007 Video Music Awards.
