Britney Spears, VMA 2008 Nominee

Well, I guess Britney’s fans campaign to rack up as many nominations for VMA is working out. Britney is the first Female Nominee to be announced for Best Female Video with ‘Piece Of Me’. Interesting. If she wins this category, that would sure be a slap to people, present company included, who thinks she shouldn’t be nominated…LOL. Talk about irony!

Look, I love Britney, and now that she’s nominated, I’m crossing my fingers that she wins, somehow. But let’s look at the reality here…

Did MTV really tally “real” votes, or are they using Britney’s name to garner publicity for the show? I wouldn’t put it past MTV to pull such a trick. They’ve done it many many many times.

Yes, I FREAKIN’ JUST SAID THAT!

The rest of the Best Female Video nominees will be announced tonight at  FN’MTV at 8pm, as well as the Best Male Video Nominees.
